California Dreaming

Hey young loves, recently went across the country to California.  Yeah I know many have done it, but it’s kinda always been a dream of mine to go to California (hence the blog title).  I feel very blessed to be able to take these trips and decided to share a few pics of my trip.  I opted to head for San Diego and Los Angeles.

Every single “Top 10 things to do in San Diego” article said one must visit the San Diego Zoo, so that is what I did

It’s $46 for a day-pass, but you know I found a coupon

How cute are the momma and baby giraffe?  Say it wif me “awwwwww”

Feeding my goat ninja, they weren’t really feeling it tho

Sky-line view

Later on in the evening I headed up to the Uptown District to get some food.  I wanted to try something new…ok fine there was a lunch special for $7.99, so I went to Aladdin Mediterranean restaurant.  And let me tell you something…that was some of the most flavorful food I have ever eating in my life!  Check out my yelp review here.

Best Lentil soup ever, no Campbell’s

On the Saturday I took the two hour drive from San Diego up I-5 North to Los Angeles.  My hotel was in Burbank, which is about 10 miles outside of L.A.

Hollywood Blvd.

L.A. nightlife at Club Mayan

Headed back to San Diego again to La Jolla Beach where the seals come right up to you on the shore, there’s also a cave you can go down into and look out into the ocean.  It’s $4.00 to enter the cave and hanging out with the seals is priceless.

On the Monday evening I also visited San Diego nightlife area in Gaslamp Quarters for Happy Hour.

I got there via the Trolley

Altitude Sky Lounge above the Marriot Hotel…ohhh yeeahhh sexxayyyy
